Tonight’s episode of Our America with Lisa Ling is all about polyamory. Convenient timing, Oprah channel, coinciding with the launch of this blog.
There’s already a great write up about it (with trailers!) over here.
If you’ve never watched the Our America documentary series, it’s pretty rad. You should go watch other episodes and learn stuff about people. :)

Anti-LGBTQ campaigners have often used the issue of polyamory — or rather, a twisted media presentation of “polygamy,” which is distinct from ethical nonmonogamy and polyamory — as a slippery-slope argument against LGBTQ equality, particularly when it comes to marriage.
The worse thing about this? LGBTQ activists left and right take the bait.

Researchers estimate that as many as 5 percent of Americans are currently in relationships involving consensual nonmonogamy — that is, permission to go outside the couple looking for love or sex.
This blog won’t always be Gleesomes (as in, more than two partner Glee “pairings”) and porn, but that’s what I have to work with at the moment. Mostly, I just want a place to house assorted thoughts about polyamory, which currently center around some of my current fanfiction projects.
The most prominent of those would be Celebrate the Art of Dreaming, which explores the relationship between Quinn, Jesse, and Rachel. I’m currently on a little bit of a hiatus from writing, but I’m working to get back into the swing of things.
As for the porn, it will likely happen. It will also be tagged “nsfw” so you can blacklist it, if necessary.
Aaaaaand, that’s what I have, so far.
